Video Everybody Get Up

Video musik

The music video begins with a number of high school students preparing to take the exam in the big hall, which contains the stage. As they handed their paper and started writing, the responsible teacher, Mr. McGarry, was notified via the intercom to come to the principal's office. Mr McGarry said that he would be back in five minutes (about the length of the video) and tell everyone to stay in their seats in silence. As soon as he leaves, a child starts hitting his desk with a ruler and after a few seconds everyone is doing the same thing on their own table. Five were then shown walking down the corridor behind the stage. Abs Breen presses the lever on the wall, which dims the lights where they are and unlocks the curtains. The music then begins and the students stand up, throw their paper in the air, knock on their table and start throwing their seats. Girls with their hair tied back to release their hair ties to free their hair. A girl also took off her glasses and threw her cardigan open. The big party starts and the students dance with Lima as they sing. Some male students do somersaults and breakdance and Five boys jumped high into the air at that time too. The band shows wearing two different outfits on each video.

During the choir after the first stanza, Scott Robinson took a can of brown paint and Ritchie Neville took a can of white paint, and they threw paint to everyone. J Brown is held by the crowd as he sings the second stanza, where more blue paint is thrown by Robinson and Neville. The students all imitate the Five movement during the choir after the second verse. On the bridge, someone lights a match and holds it against a fire sprinkler on the ceiling. The water started pouring everyone down and wetting them, but not washing the paint. At this time, none of the Five is covered in paint or water. Toward the end of the video, a girl, wet and drenched with paint, sat on her chair smiling and tapped a ruler on her desk (she probably did not move throughout the whole song). When the song ends, Mr. McGarry replays the lever and returns to a dirty, dirty space. He exclaimed in disbelief at what he saw and the camera turned into a shot behind Five of them walked slowly back down the corridor backstage.
