The Samsung Galaxy J is a smartphone developed and manufactured by Samsung that works on the Android platform. The phone was originally developed for Japanese mobile operator NTT DoCoMo in the fall of 2013, and the overseas version was originally released in Taiwan in December 2013. The device features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.3Ã, GHz processor with 3GB of RAM and Full HD Super AMOLED screen.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 chipset that includes a 2.3 GHz processor, an Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM, with 32GB of internal storage and a 2600 mAh battery. Galaxy J is equipped with Full HD Super AMOLED 5 inch screen and also includes 13.2 MP rear camera with Power HCRI LED Flash and 2.1 MP front camera. This phone does not support USB 3.0 connectivity compared to Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Software
The phone was originally released with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and can now be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
