YA Prep Public Schools, Inc. is a public charter school network, open enrollment located throughout Greater Houston. Its headquarters are located on the Southside campus. The YES program is a university preparatory program for grades 6-12.

Histori
YES Prep started in 1995 as Project YES. The program was founded in Rusk Elementary School in Houston Independent School District by Chris Barbic. Since 1998, YES Prep has operated under the state charter.
By 2017, YES Prep has opened seventeen schools located around Houston: Bray Oaks, home of the Cavaliers (founded in 2009; 6-12th), East End, home of the Explorers (2006: 6-12th), Eisenhower, home from Eagles (2016, 9-10th), Fifth Ward, home of the Titans (2011: 6-12th), Gulfton, home of the Force (2007: 6-12th), Hoffman, home of the Hornets (2013; ), North Central, home of Trailblazers (2003; 6-12th), North Forest, home of Legends (2010; 6-12th), Northbrook Middle, home of the Knights (2012; 6-8), Northbrook High, home of the Raiders (2015, 9-11th), Northline, home of the Revolutionary (2017; 6th), Northside, home of Pride (2011: 6-12th), Southeast, home of the Wizards (1998: 6- 12), Southside, (2015; 6-8), Southwest, Mavericks home (2004: 6-12th), West, Marvels house (2009; 6-12th), and White Oak, home of the Owls (2013; 6-10th).

Partnership district
In 2011, YES Prep partnered with KIPP-Houston Public Schools and Spring Branch ISD. They became the SKY Partnership. YES Prep Northbrook Middle School starts in the 2012-2013 school year with only grade 6 students. They add 7th graders in the 2013-2014 academic year. They also add 8th graders in the 2014-2015 school year. This is co-located with ISEB's Spring Branch Northbrook Middle School, which also has grades 6 through 8. Together with KIPP-Courage, which has students from grades 5 to 8, YES Prep Northbrook Middle School goes to YA Prep Northbrook High School, located at Northbrook Spring Branch Secondary School, which has 9-12 grade students. YES Prep Northbrook High School opened in the 2015-2016 school year with only 9th graders. They add 10th grade in the 2016-2017 school year. They add the 11th grade of academic year 2017-2018. They will add 12th graders in the academic year 2018-2019. KIPP Courage College Prep is open in the 2012-2013 school year with only 5th graders. They add 6th grade in the 2013-2014 academic year. They add grade 7 in the academic year 2014-2015. They also add grade 8 in the 2015-2016 school year. KIPP Courage is located in Middle Branch ISD's Landrum Middle School, which has grades 6-8.
Aldine dan YES Prep Partnership
In 2013, YES Prep partnered with Aldine ISD. YES Prep Hoffman opens in July 2013. This place is located at Aldine ISD's Hoffman Secondary School, which has seventh and eighth graders. YES Hoffman Secondary School Prep is admitted to YES Prep Eisenhower High School, located at Aldine's Eisenhower High School have classes 10 to 12. YES Prep Hoffman Middle School opens in the 2013-2014 school year with only grade 6 students. They add 7th graders in the 2014-2015 school year. They add 8th graders in the 2015-2016 school year. YES Prep Eisenhower High School opened in the 2016-2017 school year with only 9th graders. They add 10th graders in the 2017-2018 school year. They will add 11th graders in the academic year 2018-2019. They will add 12th graders in the academic year 2019-2020.
Recognition
Beginning 2017, all eligible secondary schools receive the gold ranking by US. News & amp; World Report . Two campuses are among the top 100 in the country and four campuses are in the top 20 of Texas.
Seven YES Prep middle schools are among the most challenging high schools in the country by The Washington Post .
In 2010, Oprah Winfrey donated 1 million dollars for every six charter school systems, including YA Prep.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) fulfilled his promise to hand over his salary during the government's closure in 2013 by donating $ 7,627.40, "equals 16 gross payment days," to YES Prep, which "he and Heidi back."

- YES Preparing men's basketball program from men is the District 25-AA Co-Champions (2010-2011) along with Hitchcock's high school.
- YES Preparing the Southeast high school team ranked 2nd in the Championship (2012-2013).
- In 2014, YES Prep Southeast participated in the Texas Charter School Academic & amp; Athletic League and won the national championships for boys' cross-country teams while the girls team is second.
- YES Prep Southeast 2015-2016 varsity volley girls' team placed first in Texas Charter School Academic & amp; Athletic League state championship.
