Triton Systems LLC is a manufacturer of automated teller machines (ATM). Triton ATM is built in Long Beach, Mississippi. Triton has been in operation since 1979, and has nearly 200,000 installations in over 24 countries.

History
Founded in 1979 by Ernest L. Burdette, Frank J. Wilem, Jr., and Robert E. Sandoz, Triton Systems developed ATMjr, the world's first battery-powered and fully portable battery to train bank customers to use what was then , at the time. , fairly new banking services, ATM. Triton follows this product with the development of a Card Activation System that allows financial institutions to immediately issue an ATM card with a personal identification number (PIN) customized (often chosen by the customer).
In the early 1990s, Triton pioneered cash withdrawal at the store with the introduction of the Scrip terminal, a machine that allowed store customers to use ATM cards to produce vouchers, which could be exchanged for cash at the checkout.
In 2000, Triton was acquired by Dover Corporation (NYSE-traded DOV), a diversified manufacturer of a wide range of proprietary products and components for industrial and commercial use. In 2004, Fujitsu and Triton signed a strategic licensing agreement to provide a wider solution for financial institutions and retailers despite the deployment of Fujitsu's Windows-based Prism software at Triton ATM. Later in the same year Triton launched the RT2000, a small, cheap ATM through the wall, which was easy to install and easy to maintain. 120,000 ATMs are shipped to 17 countries worldwide.
In 2005, Hurricane Katrina was a big challenge for Triton. The headquarters and factory on the Mississippi Gulf coast were closed, and the entire coastal area was evacuated. Triton's Long Beach, Mississippi's administrative, manufacturing, and production facilities went back on-line within two weeks.
Triton opened Memphis's manufacturing and service facilities in July 2006. In 2008, Triton launched RL2000, a stand-alone ATM. Also that year a subsidiary of Triton, Calypso, began operations in Australia. On April 14, 2008, Calypso successfully migrated the largest ATM to complete in one day - 2,808 ATMs.
In March 2009, Triton introduced the RL1600, a new off-premise ATM. The RL1600 is named the Convenience Store and Petroleum (CSP) magazine Product of the Year for 2009.
Also in March 2009, Triton made the decision to sell Calypso processing operations in order to focus on ATM manufacturing, software development and support.
In September 2009, the company launched ATMGurus. Utilizing the Triton Memphis footprint, ATMGurus provides customers with multi-brand support, repairs and training for their ATM plantations.
In March 2010, Dover completed the sale of Triton to a group of private investors. The company is currently privately owned.ATMGurus
ATMGurus is a supplier for all spare parts, repairs, and training for various retail ATM brands, training classes, and bench improvements by their technicians.
In September 2012, Triton was acquired by Melbourne, Australia-based GRG International.
